Felix Rösch was born in Düsseldorf, Germany and studied classical piano, sound engineering and composition at the Robert Schumann School of Music and the Institute for Music and Media. Since 2009 he is working as a freelance composer for concert, theater and film. His compositions were performed by the Orchestra of the Western German Radio and the German Filmorchestra Babelsberg. He recieved several international awards and scholarships, amongst others the 1st prize at the Berlin International Film Festivals Score Competition 2011, the European Filmmusic Award "New Sounds in European Film" 2009 and a scholarship from the Ewald Horbach Foundation. In 2011 he also recieved one of the most important awards for young artists in Germany, the Sponsorship Award of the German Federal State of NRW in composition.
